C01's News

Please accept my apology NG'ers. I didn't see many of the problems pointed out before, and the bugs came in masses when it was released. This game truly is better than the last two, I know it. The bugs managed to ruin that for a lot of you, I'm sure, but I've created a patch that should fix the major problems.

Build 1.1 Includes:
-Stupid Ad not loading can now be removed. Press space if the ad doesn't load correctly to remove it.
-Music plays correctly now.
-Act 4 is now fixed, completely accessible.
-All medals should be working correctly.
-Stats all function correctly (efficiency can no longer go above 25 pts)
-Stat descriptions now more accurate.
-Additional attacks added to certain enemies.
-SP now regenerates.

A large thank you to robotix24, Senmetsu, Fooliolo, and all of the people that gave reviews on the problems with bugs. The game is now playable, and I apologize for the large inconvenience: I would have fixed it earlier, but I've been without my computer for the last 24 hours, so yeah.

Thank you to the people who forgive me for the fluke.

Well, its out. I'm sorry for being late, but you can play it here.

I plan on updating it soon enough, too, with whatever I couldn't add in the time before Madness Day.

Tankmen: Battle 3 is going well. With the addition of classes, storyline, color customization, a dramatically higher quality of art, and much much more, it will prove to be the strongest entry in the series by far. In fact, I'll go as far as saying it'll blow away the other two games. The only thing is I've got a large vision for this game: unlockable characters, extra classes, additional weapons...I just won't have time to get it all out by Madness Day. Don't worry though, you can still expect a release on Madness Day: there will be an updated version released a couple of weeks afterwards that will complete my vision.

Finally a proper tribute to the legends, Jeff Bandelin and Krinkels.

TMB3 Progresses.

Upon request, Tankmen: Battle 3 is in development. This one's gonna be bigger and badder than ever before. The details I have for you today are the release date, which is September 22nd, and that this game will introduce classes and weapon customization to the series. I also have a little nugget of character artwork, as well as an additional feature. To see it, check below.

I'm hoping this game will put me on the radar as a more significant developer, for future collaboration with other talented developers.

I've been very busy with life lately, and it has made it hard to get back into doing anything flash-related. I've sat down the past couple days to do a little bit of artwork, including something new I added to the Art Portal (go check it out), but I'm having trouble getting anything productive done. Whats going on, Newgrounds? Are there any projects anyone would like help with? If so, please send me a message. An artist here looking to work with some creative people to help get my own creative juices going.

German for 'the war machine.'

This may or may not be the title of the lost story of the Nazi War Machine, which I am working hard on. Progress is moving along phenomenally for it, and I'm proud of the results I've done thus far. Expect to play it sometime in April. I don't want to explain too much about this game, but I've included a preview of one of the enemies.

In other news, I've also added two things to my small collection of art on here, things that I've done in the past, but was proud of them when I made them. Go ahead and check them out please, especially if you're a fan of Gurren Lagann.

New artwork, which I would like to make a game with.

*Story*
During WWII, Hitler put many people towards research in creating devastating weapons, this being one of them. One of the scientists working on this war machine realized how catastrophic this would be, and also noticed how corrupt Nazi Germany was. He reprogrammed it during the final stages to kill Nazis instead, leaving a destructive force against the Nazis.

You play as this Nazi killing machine, unleashing its destructive force among the Nazi troops. I have a friend who finds this offensive for some reason, and was wondering if people have the same sentiment as him. Would playing as a Nazi robot killing Nazis offend anyone? And if it does, what would be a good alternative to this character? Should I make it based off of something different, something that doesn't involve Nazis?

Please, discuss.

Yeah, couldn't think of a title, but wanted to make a news post, so here it is.

Space Marines is still in progress. Slowly but surely I'm working on it, but am struggling to get off of my lazy ass. I am also thinking about making some humorous comics involving characters in this Space Marines game. I'd be submitting them to the art portal of course, as I just recently had been scouted.Something to be happy about, definitely.

I also have been giving a few opportunities outside of school to apply my flash abilities. For example, this: http://i1186.photobucket.com/albums/z3 70/CodyCJohnson/ubshirt-1.png
This shirt design will most likely be used with Upward Bound, an extra-curricular program I am a part of. The people in it lack the artistic skill to make anything better than that, so I'm sure that it'll be used.

So yeah, back onto working on games. Just wanted to say something I guess.

First of all, let me apologize. I always update my news post with a bunch of updates on what I'm doing, but most of those projects I post never make it past a piece of artwork or two. From now on, I'm going to avoid posting anything that won't be released eventually.

The Space Marines - Cliche of the Century animation will probably never be made. I guess it sounded good at the time, but now it sounds bad. I enjoyed the artwork I made in that though, and would enjoy releasing a good game, so hey, how about a space marines game?

My latest project is a game where you play as a space marine. Call it a Halo rip-off or cliche or whatever you want, I really don't care. As monotonous as it sounds, it will be a turn-based RPG as well, but I plan to build a completely new engine with way better artwork. This game will be all me, too: no more Tankmen. The game will center on a soldier (you), in 2250, where they take part in an intergalactic conquest. I'm sure it will be enjoyable to sci-fi fans and rpg fans alike.

As for news on other projects. I'm having second thoughts on Tankmen: Battle 3. Depending on the success of my latest project, I might not even make TM:B3. If I do get around to making it though, it will end the series for good with its storyline. I am also helping my friend in making an Assassin's Creed character builder. It will be up to him whether it is dropped or not though, as he is the main creator.

So, thats whats up with me. If you have any suggestions towards my latest project, feel free to comment. I will be posting updates to the project over the course of the next few weeks.

P.S. Teaser.

How about a new animated series?
