Game Updates

Posted by C01 - December 12th, 2010

Okay, so if anyone who reads this had played through all of Tankmen: Battle 2, then they'd know there is to be a sequel. This is confirmed: I will make a sequel, hopefully released by March 2011. I came with news of both that game, and my other project, still of unknown name with that character in the last post.

Tankmen: Battle 3
This game centers on what Hank told the president in Tankmen: Battle 2. Those bigger things going on is the fact that they are all creations, and he knows who Tom Fulp is. The game will center on taking down early creations of Tom Fulp, such as Pico, Dad n' Me, etc. Unlike the last game though, I plan to re-invent Tankmen: Battle. In this new one, you will use a squadron instead of just one tankman. It will be a group of four, with 3 customizeable tankmen and a noble leader known simply as 'Captain'. There will be more stats in this one, new skills, and a more creative battle system. Expect a much better game here, with more strategy required.
Expected Release: March 2011

Other Game
This game will center on that character I posted in my last news post. He has complete control over the elements, and is set in ancient Greece. His power is so great, that the gods fear him and wish him dead. Join him on his adventure of survival against the gods. This game will tie in with future games, such as Lucifer's Champion, a project I mentioned a while back but never really did anything with. He plays an appearance in Lucifer's Champion, as you will find out why in the end of the game I plan to create after Tankmen: Battle 3.
Expected Release: July 2011

So there you go. I will stall progress on TM:B3 towards the end of December, since I will take part in the next Newgrounds Game Jam. But other than that, it should be smooth sailing from then on. Expect greater and more significant creations in 2011.
